Return Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2025
At My Detail Supply, we want you to be completely satisfied with your car detailing products. If you're not happy with your purchase, we offer a return and refund process subject to the following terms.
1. Eligibility for Returns
You can return products within 30 days from the date of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided that:
- The products are unused and in their original condition (i.e., sealed packaging, undamaged, and in resellable condition).
- Products must be returned with all original packaging (boxes, labels, accessories, etc.).
- The return request is initiated within 14 days of delivery.
Note: Returns of tools, machines, etc. will incur a 20% restocking fee.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable:
- Used or opened products (unless defective)
- Gift cards
- Products on sale or clearance (unless specified otherwise)
3. How to Return Items
To return an item, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Reach out to our customer service team at onlinesales@mydetailsupply.com to request a return authorization. Please include your order number, the product(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
- Return Authorization: Once your return is approved, you will receive a Return Authorization Number (RAN). This will help us process your return smoothly.
- Prepare the Return Package: Carefully pack the items you're returning. Make sure the items are in their original condition, and include the RAN inside the package.
- Ship the Return: Use a reliable shipping service to return the item(s). We recommend tracking your return package, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged items during the return shipping process.
- Return Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for paying the return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., incorrect or defective product).
4. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the returned items, we will process your refund. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
- Processing Time: Refunds may take 5 to 10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your payment method and bank processing times.
- Shipping Costs: Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error or the item was defective upon arrival.
5. Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact our customer service team immediately at onlinesales@mydetailsupply.com. You may be eligible for a full refund, replacement, or store credit, depending on the situation.
6. Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange a product for a different item, please return the original product for a refund and place a new order for the desired product.
